Science Related Grant Sites
- Calling All Science Giants:
Devon Canada is pleased to be introducing the Science Giants grant
program this fall. Devon's Science Giants grant is designed to reward
schools that demonstrate gains in science and innovative approaches,
with the aim of fostering student interest in this critical subject.
Grants of up to $5,000 are available to junior high and high schools
that demonstrate innovative approaches to science education. Full

for the Science Giants program on the Devon Energy
website under Community Relations>Science Giants.
Application deadline is October 31, 2011.
- A+ for Energy is an energy
education program developed by BP to recognize teachers for innovation
and excellence in teaching energy and energy conservation in the
classroom. Through grants of up to $10,000, BP has had the opportunity
to support many creative energy projects involving K-12 students.
Since 2007, we have provided more than $2 million to support 192
winning energy projects across Alberta, benefiting nearly 50,000
