If you have a keen interest in science and a desire to help children and their inquiring minds then The Calgary Youth Science Fair Society would like you to assist in judging at the 2012 Fair which will be held from April 18-21 at the Olympic Oval. Judging takes place the morning of Friday April 20th. Please fill in the form below if you would like to participate as a judge.

Judging Information


I would like to judge at the Elementary (gr. 5-6) or Secondary (gr. 7-12) level.
I would be willing to judge at the other level if necessary
I plan on attending the selected judging seminar
I plan on attending the judge's preview night this year on Thursday, April 19th from 5:00 - 8:00 pm at the Olympic Oval at the University of Calgary. This is a drop in event so please come when you can.
I will require parking for the judge's preview night
I will require parking for judging on Friday

I am fluent in French and I am willing to judge projects presented in French. (Please note: we have a scarcity of Francophone judges. Accordingly, Anglophone judges may be asked to judge a few projects which were prepared in French. The students are aware that they may have to present in English as well.
I acknowledge and accept that my picture may be taken at the Calgary Youth Science Fair and that the photo(s) may be provided to the media, donors, and/or sponsors, or used on the CYSF web site, to report on and/or promote the fair. *If you don't agree to this, unfortunately we won't be able to let you judge at the fair.*
I have at least 4 years experience in judging and am interested in being involved in award round judging on Friday afternoon. If you are selected for award round judging, we will contact you with further details.
